Exceptional Value by
Debra F from Kansas City MO Sailing date: Jan 2010Pros: Room steward and Dining Room wait staff were exceptional Cons: not enough time on Isla Roatan Our 5th cruise within 6 years and 3 months! Third time on Carnival and it was an awesome trip. We made new friends plus two of the four ports were new to us which is always excting. We especially enjoyed the beaches on Isla Roatan. The customer service on Carnical has always been very good however the service that we received on this trip was stellar! As Arnold says, "WE WILL BE BACK!" Ship Quality

This was the most fabulous cruise ever, by
mary m from Palm Harbor,Florida Sailing date: Jan 2010Pros: Everything, people, excursions, food ,room steward, waiters, everyone! Cons: I can think of nothing The Legend was a beautiful ship, it had to be to have all the wonderful people who made the trip perfect. So many memories will be carried through my life. I just celebrated my 80th birthday, and each excursion made me feel very comfortable in my zip line, cave tubing and snorkling. Each of them were special. Dining/Food
Stateroom QualityMelvin, Elna and Jun who cared for me were superb. Always a smile and kind word each day and the animals on the bed were great Ship Staff QualityNo matter how trivial our questions or desires, they were met with curtesy, kindness and helpful Entertainment & ActivitiesCould hardly believer the quality of the performances 2 out of 3 people found this review helpful.

  Relaxing cruise by
A Traveler from tampa,fl Sailing date: Jan 2010Pros: Beverage prices were reasonable and food above average. We enjoyed a fantastic time on this cruise can`t think of anything derogatory about the whole experience. The vessel was large and very exquisite decorated, alcohol beverages prices were reasonable and the food was above average in both the dining room and lido deck.Very good organization all over the ship and the staff very pleasent and well informed. Wonderful Ports! by
A Traveler from Wisconsin Sailing date: Jan 2010Pros: The food and the ports Cons: Smoking allowed on the ship Very nice ship - clean, great staff, wonderful food. Nice 7-day trip with great ports - especially Roatan island. Was surprised that the demographics on the ship were much older than expected. Ship QualityVery clean, but not as well maintained as Disney Cruise Line. Dining/Food
Stateroom QualityOn the small side, but have nice amount of storage space. Ship Staff QualityVery friendly. Entertainment & ActivitiesDid not care for some of the entertainment - need more variety and music offerings. Children's ProgramsWe had 17-20 yr olds with us - not many planned activities for this age group. 0 out of 0 people found this review helpful.

Good Cruise - Good Value by
Love to Cruise from Sarasota, FL Sailing date: Nov 2009Pros: Ship layout - clean Cons: Food - terrible Having wonderful weather sure helped making this cruise very nice. Staff was good, with an excellent room steward. Very happy that our dinning time was changed from late to early seating. They were very accomodating in this respect. We were unable to sit at a large table so we had to share with just one other couple. This can be difficult if they turn out to be bad table mates. Ours were not bad, just from another planet. We were never late to dinner but they would arrive early and start eating before us. RUDE. I'm not sure they ever called us by name. Wake UP people!!! Ship QualityVery clean - they were always cleaning something and the public restrooms were well maintained! Dining/FoodPoor in dinning room and Average in the buffet. The deli sandwiches were great, but always a long line because they were the best thing available. The pizza was also good. Stateroom QualityBig room, clean, great shower - better than some ships and I've been a many. We were down on the last deck inside room and it was FINE!!! Save your money and get better food! Ship Staff QualityPretty friendly, and not bugged to much. Entertainment & ActivitiesThe ship shows were excellent - with a great band, and wonderful singers and dancers. The other entertainment was below par. Children's ProgramsThey were out of site so the programs in my mind must be great!. Did check out some of the areas for the kids of possible trip with grand children and they looked very good. 0 out of 1 people found this review helpful.

Good value if no children by
Robert W from Tampa, FL Sailing date: Nov 2009Pros: Ports of call were exciting Cons: Entertainment was dated and service was rushed, poor children's services Good food yet nothing was spectacular. Children's services were virutally non-existant. Room was spaciuos and balcony was relaxing. Service was too rushed and unattentive. Smoking was too close to non-smoking venues. Ship Quality

  A real "Wow" cruise by
Albert Burns from Ocala, FL Sailing date: Dec 2009Pros: Staff (all way over the top), and the food...ummm good Cons: Still would like to see more non smoking areas Have been on several cruises and while I am not a "cruise expert", I can say I don't think there could be a better example of a perfect cruise. Beautiful ship, superior staff, great menus and wonderful food, and good entertainment. Where in the world could you get all of this, AND get to feel like a potentate for a whole week, for so little cost..OUTSTANDING! Ship QualityThe Legend is an outstanding ship in every respect. Absolutly no complaints Dining/FoodDining room was "out of sight". Food, menu options, and service as good as any 4 star establishment in town Stateroom QualityHad a balcony room that was clean, neat and was all that one could expect Ship Staff QualityNever better. Made me feel like a king for the entire trip Entertainment & ActivitiesI have never considered cruise ship entertainment any better than good on any ship. For the cruise prices these days no one should expect anything better than "good". This was however,as good as I have seen. 2 out of 2 people found this review helpful.

  Fabulous Vacation by
Joan S. from Ocala, FL Sailing date: Nov 2009Pros: We loved everything from the cabin service, to dining, to entertainment, etc., etc., etc. Cons: Two of the ports were only accessible by tender and difficult with a wheelchair Every about this cruise, from the moment we stepped onto the ship, was perfect. Everyone on the crew was helpful and friendly and we felt right at home. Carnival Cruise Ships are absolutely the Fun Ships! Can't wait to go on another cruise. Ship QualityThe size of the ship was perfect for us. Wheelchair accessibility was way above average and the cleanliness and care of all areas of the ship were wonderful. Dining/FoodThe food was phenomenal, with something for everyone, and very convenient. We ate dinner in the main dining room every evening except one when we went to the steakhouse, and experienced all the other venues over the course of our cruise. Stateroom QualityWe had a wheelchair accessible statement and it was perfect. Roomy and easy to get around, exceptionally comfortable and kept immaculate by the cabin steward. Ship Staff QualityEveryone on board were very helpful and accommodating. Entertainment & ActivitiesNo enough time in the day to experience all the options available. 5 out of 5 people found this review helpful.

  A Good Cruise! by
A Traveler from Tampa, FL Sailing date: Nov 2009Pros: The staff taking care of my cabin were the best! Always pleasant and accommodating. The ports of call were fabulous and the Ship overall was a very nice ship! Cons: The food wasn't as good as I have had on past cruises but it was still good. The Karaoke is very out-dated. The ship was very Nice! Beautiful! I liked the lay out of the decks. It seemed that everything was near my cabin. The service was pretty good in the dining room. The housekeeping service was the best! Dining/FoodFood could have been better. I have been on several Carnival cruises but the food on this one was not that great. Stateroom Quality
Ship Staff QualityHouse keeping was awesome. Dining Room Staff O.K and the rest of the staff seemed very pleasant. Entertainment & ActivitiesKaraoke needs some updating. Could have some more updated music in the Medusa's Lair Club instead of having so many older generation nights. 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful.

  We'd Do It Again! by
Cub W. from Punta Gorda, FL Sailing date: Nov 2009Pros: Dinner Cons: Gift Shop Personnel The ship is clean and easy to navigate from point A to B. No bottlenecks or highly congested areas (except when tendering at a port and that happens on every ship). Other than a few exceptions, the ships staff was not overly friendly or outgoing. Ship QualityThe theme was confusing at times, from mythical creatures to King Arthur's times, but still nice. There were some restrooms that we noticed had an offensive odor all of the time. Dining/FoodThe food was good, plenty of selections each evening. Our wait staff were great and made dining an event (thank you TK and Nikoli), they went above and beyond always and did it with great professionalism. The nightly entertainment in the dining room was great and this an area Carnival always goes above and beyond with, we have cruised many lines, and Carnival makes dinner an event! The buffet is just that a buffet, there will be lines at times, but the selection of food was good, the week we were there the fruit was terrible, but that was the only exception. The salad bar was always a good choice. And thank heavens for chocolate melting cakes! Stateroom QualityOur balcony stateroom was very clean, adequate space. Our room steward did a very good job and made our stay very comfortable. Our TV was broken upon arrival, but within a day it was fixed. Ship Staff QualityOur Maitre-de for late dining, third deck was entertaining and informative, each evening he would let us know what was happening shipboard. He was kind and well respected by his staff. Most of the bar staff, especially in the lounges near the dining rooms, were good, but some others around the ship were quite poor at their job. Gift shop personnel could certainly sell a lot more if they actually acknowledged the presence of customers and an occasional smile might not hurt either, very poor! Entertainment & ActivitiesWe enjoyed the comedians and other acts. The productions shows such Jazz Hot was VERY well done and entertaining. We've been on other Carnival ships where you couldn't find anything to do, but we didn't seem to have this issue on the Legend. 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful.
