A cruise fit for a king! by
Quincy A from Conyers, GA Sailing date: Nov 2009Pros: The service and shows, and of course the food. Cons: Some of the Entertainment options The crew and all the staff from the director on down were nice and very welcoming. The whole staff made it a real and true vactation so much so that I did not want to leave or at least take some of the staff with me. The service was top nootch the food was excellent and the ship was was clean and very pleasing to the eye. Ship QualityI have been on vessils that have not been so clean so the cleanliness was great and the decor was simple but adequate. Dining/FoodThe food was excellent better than food I have received in any five star resteraunt and the service was far beyond excellent and entertaining. Stateroom QualityThe amnenities were in working order and that added to the comfort of the stateroom which was quite comfortable and not so cramped. Ship Staff QualityThe crew I cant say enough about the crew left no stone unturned and no one was not eager if not welcoming once on the ship to help and to assist you. Entertainment & ActivitiesThe activities were good more of the live singing and performances would have been nice but overall good. Children's ProgramsI did not have children, but the activities seemed to be adequate and keep the kids attention because not one disturbance or one unhappy camper that I can remmeber on the whole voyage. So I have to say excellent thought it did not affect me direclty, but indireclty it was the best. 0 out of 0 people found this review helpful.

  Our best cruise ever:) by
Gail L. from iNDIANTOWN, FL Sailing date: Nov 2009Pros: The food....absolutely phenomenal! The service....great! Cons: I can't think of anything we didn't like on this cruise! This was our first cruise with Carnival. My husband, my mom and I had a fantastic time! The food was so good, we couldn't stop talking about it even when we got home. My mom is not a very big eater ( she weighs about 100 lbs. ), but even she ate good!
The service at the dining room was awesome. Our waiter and the maitrde made us feel so special.
Our steward kept our rooms immaculate all day long and catered to our every need.
I just can't say enough good things about this cruise line, as a matter of fact I am already looking for another cruise to take with them in March! This time we are taking our daughter, son-in-law and five grandchildren. Ship QualityVery nice ship!! Dining/FoodThe best ever! Stateroom QualityNice room! Ship Staff QualityPerfect Entertainment & ActivitiesVery good 0 out of 0 people found this review helpful.

  Great cruise! by
A Traveler from Palm Beach, Florida Sailing date: Nov 2009Pros: The port of call and time there. Cons: Noisy patrons in the stateroom sleeping areas Sailed on the Imagination for the second time. Find it better than the first time, ship was clean, up graded rooms, and staff were friendlier. Ship QualityBetter than the first time we sailed with the Imagination Dining/FoodFood was just average, nothing to be excited about and choices could have been better. Formal night was excellent Stateroom QualityWas good, we had some maintenance concerns but never reported it. Ship Staff QualityStaff were wonderful and professional but needed more training in answering questions about ship locations. Entertainment & ActivitiesFor the price of the cruise the entertainment was excellent but if I rate it on overall cruises it was good. Children's ProgramsExcellent because we did not notice them!!! 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful.

  Awesome Cruise! by
Juliann K from Richmond, VA Sailing date: Nov 2009Pros: The ship was beautiful and clean! The cabins were large. Also, the hospitality of the crew, many of them remembered who I was while on board and welcomed me by name. Cons: The food wasn't quite as good on Royal Carribean. Some events were difficult to find (ex. Bargain Bingo). Also, it rained a little bit. But the Capitan did a great job of keeping us in the sun when he could. Despite the few Cons, the ship was wonderful and we had an amazing time. I rated it the best because even though the food wasn't quite as good as Royal Carribean, the overall experience was much nicer. Ship Quality
Dining/Food
Stateroom QualityBeautifully decorated bathrooms and nice, large staterooms. Ship Staff QualityVery Hospitable! Entertainment & ActivitiesThey were a little difficult to find and some occured at inopportune times. 0 out of 0 people found this review helpful.

  Good for the Price by
Marie M from NY Sailing date: Oct 2009Pros: The dining room and room stewards were great. We were traveling with a child and they were attentive and helpful. THe camp Carnival and the water slide were good and she enjoyed them. Cons: The Lido deck was not cleaned as often as need, dirty dishes and a swipe witha rag were not in keeping with their claims of preventing germs. The room with balcony was large, but the balcony was too small for the chairs. You could not move around at all. Smaller chairs would have made it better. It is a ship for people who party. I have sailed Princess, NCL and Royal Caribbean and it does not compare, but you must considered the price and ports. It was good value for the price, food was fine, staff very friendly and there wasn't a great deal of extras being pushed, as there are on NCL in particular. It was a good cruise, not the best of my 14. Ship Quality

  It was okayl by
Mary Jane Haener from Naples, FL Sailing date: Oct 2009Pros: The ship is kept extremely clean. Cons: The loud music...it actually hurt our ears. The ship itself was wonderful. The music by the pool and in some of the lounges was so loud. If you would have been rated by OSHA I wonder what they would give you. We had to move several times because of the loudness of the music. Ship Quality

Stateroom QualityPlenty of room. We loved our room (R85)! Ship Staff Quality
Entertainment & ActivitiesThe shows were excellent and very professional. 0 out of 0 people found this review helpful.

  a very dissappointing cruise by
Will from ROCHESTER, NY Sailing date: Oct 2009Pros: the staterooms were bigger than most Cons: very poor customer service The employees were not attentive at all. They were by no means very accomodating. They appeared to be too busy to assist you, as if they didn't want to be bothered, with the exception of Apachia, our head waiter in the Spirit
dining room. She was fun & funny, she knew what you wanted for dinner before you did. She was exceptional. Ship QualityThe layout of the ship & how to get about was very confusing & choppy. Dining/FoodThe food was good. But the help seemed way too passive, no sense of urgency in cleaning tables. Again, the main dining room was exceptional, you wanted for nothing & that's how it should be no matter where you are on the ship. Stateroom QualityVery good. Ship Staff QualityShowed no willingness at all to go above & beyond! Again, with the exception of the Spirit Dining Room. Entertainment & ActivitiesThis was mediocre. 0 out of 0 people found this review helpful.
