a good cruise
by James S. from Fort Myers, Fl
Sailing date:
Nov 2009
Pros:
The cabin person was just great!!! As was our dinning room waiter wrer SUPER!!!
Cons:
On Nov. 11, there was not ONE event to honor all the people who have served!!! That was not what expected!
We enjoyed ourself and were treated very good. One of my disapointments was on planned tribute for our armed forces, on NOV. 11. That is veterens day, to most it might not be that important anymore, not a news maker. I guess at my age i still hold close to my heart the service these people did for this Great country.

Honeymoon Cruise
by Danny L from Middleburg Florida
Sailing date:
Nov 2009
Pros:
The nightly shows in the Ivanhoe Theater
Cons:
Not enough shops to choose from, only had two
The ship was nice, it was very clean. The staff were exellent they did everything they could to make you comfortable, my bride had not ben on a cruise in 20 years and was not sure how she would do cruising but those fears faded quickly as we got into the many events happening daily on the ship, she had a wonderful time and I get many brownie points with her for taking her on such a great honeymoon!

7 Wonderful Day at Sea
by A Traveler from Ft. Pierce, Florida
Sailing date:
Oct 2009
Pros:
Being waited on for 7 days
Cons:
It only lasted 7 days
We really enjoyed our cruise on the Valor. We found the ship to be easy to get around on and was amazed at the various night clubs that were available . Our stateroom was roomy and comfortable, and the staff was very friendly. The ship had so much to offer us for entertainment. Even though this was our first cruise on the Valor, it will not be our last.

What a great time!
by Therese L from Dayton, OH
Sailing date:
Oct 2009
Pros:
Food and Activities
Cons:
The baby next door
The Valor is a really nice ship. The decor is attractive and updated. There is a USA theme running throughout the ship. Everything is clean and ready for use, even the public restrooms. The staff is extremely courteous and helpful. The meals are excellent. There is always something to do, or a quiet place to relax. We loved this cruise!

Ship Quality
Everything was immaculate. There were even hand sanitizing stations strategically placed throughout the ship. We loved that the main theater and even some of the lounges were non smoking.
Dining/Food
The food in the main dining room was excellent. Our party of four tried alsmost everything on the menu. The Melting Chocolate Cake is the best! The burrito bar was also a big plus and very convenient for a quick meal.
Stateroom Quality
Plenty of room for all our clothes. Plenty of room for sitting and relaxing. Always immaculately clean. The issue we had was the crying baby next door.
Ship Staff Quality
Everyone on board was very friendly and always smiling. We missed our early dinner seating due to a shore excursion, and they magically found a table for us in the very crowded dining room.
Entertainment & Activities
The comedians were especially funny. The song and dance shows were excellent and very entertaining. The only one that left a little to be desired was the magician.

Average - nothing to write home about
by A Traveler from Knoxville, TN
Sailing date:
Oct 2009
Pros:
2 of the 3 comedians were very good
Cons:
food was average at best - no midnight buffet (pizza/hamburgers only)
The ship was well maintained/cleaned, staff were friendly - but beyond the fresh fruit, the food was definitely lacking in quality.

October Getaway
by Sue O from Sarasota, FL
Sailing date:
Oct 2009
Pros:
Weather
Cons:
Dining room service
Valor was tastefully decorated. Not over the top like most ships. The big outdoor TV screen is a blast. The food was better than some cruises I've been on, but the overall service was lacking.

Great Vacation
by Margaret D from Hazlet, nj
Sailing date:
Oct 2009
Pros:
Staff
Cons:
Lack of Coffee on Lido deck and the long line at the grill.
The ship was beautiful. Staff was friendly and helpful. I had to go to the medical center and I was impressed at how quickly and efficiently I was taken care of. Gary, the cruise director and his staff were wonderful. The shows were great as were the comedians.. We had dinner at Scarlett's steak house to celebrate our 25th Anniversary....it was fabulous. We were a little disappointed though with the outside grill (for hamburgers and hot dogs) . There was only one open and the lines were ridiculously long. The coffee machines on the Lido deck were empty quite often too. Other than that we had a fantastic time
