Awesome again!! by
Bonnie M. from Clayton, NC Sailing date: Jan 2010Pros: The food, kids programs, service. Cons: All good! This was our 3rd disney cruise and our 2nd on the Disney Wonder. Each time the experience is mor magical and the service and food is better. The ship is clean and well maintained, the kids always have something to do and they enjoy all of the programs. The service has always been exceptional, the first time we went was for a wish my son had for an illness so we assumed that we got special attention, years later on our return and our son was healthy we got the same great service and the experience was awesome. This 3rd time was even better than the last 2 times. Disney has a great reputation for quality and service and a magical experience, we were not disappointed and are looking forward to the next Disney cruise. Ship Quality

  Disney Cruise was great by
Denise B from Lone Tree, Colorado Sailing date: Jan 2010Pros: Food, cleanliness, adults only area, no major soliciting for additional services Cons: Not enough time to do it all High quality all the way. Though we were not with children we did not fell overwhelmed by others kids. We sat with other adult only parties at dinner. Plenty of time at ports of call. Really liked the food!!!! Ship Quality
Dining/Food
Stateroom QualityPlenty of room. Two sinks. Also sitting area with couch. WE were on the second deck and the porthole was large and afforded us a grea view. Ship Staff QualityAlways friendly and helpful. If you asked where something was they would take you there rather than just telling you where something was. Disney quality all the way. The best cruise ever! by
Rhonda S from Conover, NC Sailing date: Nov 2009Pros: The ship and the crew. Cons: The coffee. It was wonderful. My husband and I have been on many cruises but this one exceeded them all in every way. We took our 2 year old grandson and was so impressed at how much this cruise is focused on family and children. I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants a quality family vacation. The ship was first rate and the crew was friendly, helpful, caring and very willing to go the extra mile for you. This is just a first class ship. We loved it! Ship QualityBeautiful, very clean and well kept. Dining/FoodBeautiful dining rooms Stateroom Quality
Ship Staff QualityThe best staff. Entertainment & ActivitiesThe very best shows, our grandson loved them and so did we. 7 out of 7 people found this review helpful.

The kids club was great! The staff who worked at the kids club were wonderful- my kids didn't want to leave! Ship Quality

  Great Family Fun by
Marc B. from Welland Ontario Cananda Sailing date: Aug 2009Pros: The service staff/Fitness facilities Cons: nothing to mention Overall, great service, cleanliness, and professionalism. All departments geared toward customer needs. Ship QualityAll areas of the ship were clean and accessible. Dining/FoodFood was very good, but feel that for Disney standards, they could improve on the quality of the meals. Fish was often overcooked but meats were cooked to perfection. Desserts could've been better. They were just average. Stateroom QualityI just sleep in the stateroom, so don't place much importance on them. But what we had was very clean and sufficient. One shortcoming, I like to go to bed early, and there was a bar just above our room. Something to consider in requests next time, a room at the other end of the ship. Ship Staff QualityBeyond compare. Especially the Fitness Center manager (Rob) went out of his way to make morning workouts informative and enjoyable. Entertainment & ActivitiesThe entertainment was excellent, and all instructions were very clear, easy to follow.

Castaway Cay (Disney Private Island)Absolutely always the best stop. Perfect beach, tons of activities, and FREE!!!! We always look for a Castaway Cay port of call, and if lucky, can get two of them in one cruise.
Don't Miss: Rent the snorkling. Nassau, BahamasWe did Atlantis excursion (without the water park) and loved it. It was perfect. Doing the waterpark would've been too much, lowering the value for dollar spent. Just the guided tour was perfect, especially since they allowed us to visit the rest of the grounds on our own for as long as we wanted.

Disney Cruise for 5 @ great price! by
Amanda M from Suffolk, VA Sailing date: Aug 2009Pros: Castaway Cay was fabulous! Huge stateroom! Cons: Dinners were just so-so. We went on a 4 night cuise on the Wonder. Typical of Disney it was wonderful. Clean, great service, plenty to do, fabulous for our 13 boy and girls 12 & 9. We celebrated 2 birthday's are the did it up right tof rhe girls. Huge glorious cakes, singing the works. The cruise ship did not feel crowded even though it was completely booked. The best day was on the private island. We only booked snorkling, bikes, float and still could not do all we wanted too! The stateroom was marvelous. We had 5 people and were not crowded, did not begin to use all the storage space or even all the closet space. The bath and half was wonderful. The balcony was delighful and well used by us.
A few tips: on Castaway Cay get off the ship early and walk to the farthest side of the beach for quiet, fewer people and the best shade.
On embarking go to lunch on the 9th floor immedaitely (only time it was really crowded).
Don't bother with Nassau tours. We spoke with many guest and read blogs that all agreed. Skip the expensive tours and do a quick walk in town then enjoy the many activities on the boat. We did and had a great day.
Ship QualityThe ship is totally Disney. They could use some more and different shops on board. Howeer, after 5 cruises, this we by far the best for cleanliness and service. The stateroom was positivily huge by ship standards. Dining/FoodBreakast and lunch were great. Go to Goofy's for lunch. Dinner in Parrot Cay is great. The other's have good shows and staff by only ok food. Stateroom QualityNothing has compared in 5 cruises to this. Ship Staff QualityDisney all the way. Entertainment & ActivitiesThe nightly shows should be a priority. The Golden Mickey's and Dreams are well worth planning your whole cruise around. Children's ProgramsOur sullen 13 yr old boy had a GREAT time. He did not want to go on the "little kid cruise" and is already asking to go again. He loved it. Both girls had a blast. My 9 yr old says, "Flubber making ROCKS".

Castaway Cay (Disney Private Island)snorkling! Bike to the look out tower. Play in glorius water with your family
Don't Miss: Snorkling Nassau, BahamasIt was a Bank Holiday so most things were closed. Very hot and very aggressive venfors in the straw market. They scared my kids. We bought 2 bottles of alcohol and one trinket and returned to the ship for some of the fun activities. In the future, I woudl stay on ship. Other friends we made felt the same and many were very disappointed with the cost/value of the excursions they took.

Dining/FoodThe dining room had lots of flies. Stateroom QualityVery small...not very clean....in need of remodeling Ship Staff QualityThe staff was somewhat friendly Entertainment & ActivitiesThe shows were very entertaining for the children. Ship QualityThe layout was great. It was vey clean. Dining/FoodThe variety of food was wonderful. The quality of selections was not as good as we have had on other cruise lines. The kids selection was unbeatable. Stateroom QualityThe standard state room is much larger than other cruise lines. Ship Staff Quality

  It was very nice!! by
Yanira A from Deltona, FL Sailing date: Apr 2009Pros: I liked the shows, the ship was very clean, the food was very good Cons: The ship's buffet area is too small for so many people, didn't like the fact that my 9 month old couldn't go in the pool because of regulations. So FYI!! If you have a kid that is not potty trained they can't go in the pool, so no water for them. :-( Is a very nice ship, the kids had a awesome time and the food variety is also very good Ship QualityI wish the ship was bigger Dining/FoodFood variety was really good Stateroom QualityClean and comfortable Ship Staff QualitySuper, the staff was incredible Entertainment & ActivitiesGreat shows, love the movie theater's
