Disney Magic was magical!! by
Chris D. from Reading, PA Sailing date: Nov 2009Pros: The service was wonderful. Also, the dinner we had at Palo's(the adults only restaurant) was fantastic! Cons: The water in the pools was a little cold. The ship was maintained very well. All activities were well organized and boarding and disembarking was very smooth. The staff were all fantastic. The kids club was great! The staff who worked at the kids club were wonderful- my kids didn't want to leave! Ship Quality
Dining/FoodPalo's was outstanding. The other restaurants were very good. I particularly enjoyed Triton's. Stateroom QualityThe rooms were well maintained and I liked having a balcony. Ship Staff QualityOutstanding staff!!! They couldn't do enough for us! Entertainment & ActivitiesThe shows were excellent. They were enjoyed equally by adults and kids. Children's ProgramsAgain, the kids club was well run and my kids raved about it. 0 out of 0 people found this review helpful.

  Great Family Fun by
Marc B. from Welland Ontario Cananda Sailing date: Aug 2009Pros: The service staff/Fitness facilities Cons: nothing to mention Overall, great service, cleanliness, and professionalism. All departments geared toward customer needs. Ship QualityAll areas of the ship were clean and accessible. Dining/FoodFood was very good, but feel that for Disney standards, they could improve on the quality of the meals. Fish was often overcooked but meats were cooked to perfection. Desserts could've been better. They were just average. Stateroom QualityI just sleep in the stateroom, so don't place much importance on them. But what we had was very clean and sufficient. One shortcoming, I like to go to bed early, and there was a bar just above our room. Something to consider in requests next time, a room at the other end of the ship. Ship Staff QualityBeyond compare. Especially the Fitness Center manager (Rob) went out of his way to make morning workouts informative and enjoyable. Entertainment & ActivitiesThe entertainment was excellent, and all instructions were very clear, easy to follow.

Castaway Cay (Disney Private Island)Absolutely always the best stop. Perfect beach, tons of activities, and FREE!!!! We always look for a Castaway Cay port of call, and if lucky, can get two of them in one cruise.
Don't Miss: Rent the snorkling. Nassau, BahamasWe did Atlantis excursion (without the water park) and loved it. It was perfect. Doing the waterpark would've been too much, lowering the value for dollar spent. Just the guided tour was perfect, especially since they allowed us to visit the rest of the grounds on our own for as long as we wanted.
Don't Miss: Atlantis 5 out of 6 people found this review helpful.

Disney Cruise for 5 @ great price! by
Amanda M from Suffolk, VA Sailing date: Aug 2009Pros: Castaway Cay was fabulous! Huge stateroom! Cons: Dinners were just so-so. We went on a 4 night cuise on the Wonder. Typical of Disney it was wonderful. Clean, great service, plenty to do, fabulous for our 13 boy and girls 12 & 9. We celebrated 2 birthday's are the did it up right tof rhe girls. Huge glorious cakes, singing the works. The cruise ship did not feel crowded even though it was completely booked. The best day was on the private island. We only booked snorkling, bikes, float and still could not do all we wanted too! The stateroom was marvelous. We had 5 people and were not crowded, did not begin to use all the storage space or even all the closet space. The bath and half was wonderful. The balcony was delighful and well used by us.
A few tips: on Castaway Cay get off the ship early and walk to the farthest side of the beach for quiet, fewer people and the best shade.
On embarking go to lunch on the 9th floor immedaitely (only time it was really crowded).
Don't bother with Nassau tours. We spoke with many guest and read blogs that all agreed. Skip the expensive tours and do a quick walk in town then enjoy the many activities on the boat. We did and had a great day.
Ship QualityThe ship is totally Disney. They could use some more and different shops on board. Howeer, after 5 cruises, this we by far the best for cleanliness and service. The stateroom was positivily huge by ship standards. Dining/FoodBreakast and lunch were great. Go to Goofy's for lunch. Dinner in Parrot Cay is great. The other's have good shows and staff by only ok food. Stateroom QualityNothing has compared in 5 cruises to this. Ship Staff QualityDisney all the way. Entertainment & ActivitiesThe nightly shows should be a priority. The Golden Mickey's and Dreams are well worth planning your whole cruise around. Children's ProgramsOur sullen 13 yr old boy had a GREAT time. He did not want to go on the "little kid cruise" and is already asking to go again. He loved it. Both girls had a blast. My 9 yr old says, "Flubber making ROCKS".

Castaway Cay (Disney Private Island)snorkling! Bike to the look out tower. Play in glorius water with your family
Don't Miss: Snorkling Nassau, BahamasIt was a Bank Holiday so most things were closed. Very hot and very aggressive venfors in the straw market. They scared my kids. We bought 2 bottles of alcohol and one trinket and returned to the ship for some of the fun activities. In the future, I woudl stay on ship. Other friends we made felt the same and many were very disappointed with the cost/value of the excursions they took.

  Very Disappointing by
Catherine H. from Naples, FL Sailing date: Jun 2009Pros: The Children's Program Cons: Not Very Clean I was disappointed that our cabin was run down and dirty. The quality of the food was very poor. Not much to do for adults. Lots of flies in every restaurant. Unsanitary! Very overpriced! Ship QualityThe furniture in our stateroom was very worn, dirty and stained. Dining/FoodThe dining room had lots of flies. Stateroom QualityVery small...not very clean....in need of remodeling Ship Staff QualityThe staff was somewhat friendly Entertainment & ActivitiesThe shows were very entertaining for the children. Great job on the children's programming. My children truly enjoyed their time on board. Never bored! Children's ProgramsVery good programming 5 out of 5 people found this review helpful.

Ship QualityThe layout was great. It was vey clean. Dining/FoodThe variety of food was wonderful. The quality of selections was not as good as we have had on other cruise lines. The kids selection was unbeatable. Stateroom QualityThe standard state room is much larger than other cruise lines. Ship Staff Quality

  It was very nice!! by
Yanira A from Deltona, FL Sailing date: Apr 2009Pros: I liked the shows, the ship was very clean, the food was very good Cons: The ship's buffet area is too small for so many people, didn't like the fact that my 9 month old couldn't go in the pool because of regulations. So FYI!! If you have a kid that is not potty trained they can't go in the pool, so no water for them. :-( Is a very nice ship, the kids had a awesome time and the food variety is also very good Ship QualityI wish the ship was bigger Dining/FoodFood variety was really good Stateroom QualityClean and comfortable Ship Staff QualitySuper, the staff was incredible Entertainment & ActivitiesGreat shows, love the movie theater's

  what a let down by
Leslie B. from Charlotte, NC Sailing date: Nov 2008Pros: Castaway Cay Cons: inconvenience & food Very disappointing - extremely overpriced! The ship was impeccably clean, but only at the passengers' inconvenience. Areas of the ship were roped off during the day for maintenance (painting, pressure washing, etc.). The first day, pool chairs were available, but each day, more chairs were removed, stacked, covered, and tied down. By the last day, we had to either sit under the deck above or on the pool edge since there were very few chairs poolside. They have an adult's only pool, but we couldn't enjoy because they do not have lifeguards at the other pool. The food was terrible - we ate hotdogs, chicken tenders, and fruit the entire trip. The island was great, but we rented snorkeling equipment ($90) that we didn't get to use because 15 minutes or so later it started to rain and everyone had to leave the island. They do not offer rainchecks or refunds. Dining/FoodOur dining room was advertised as having a wonderful animated "light show" for your entertainment while dining - the only lights on were the lights in the ceiling - the show never happened. Stateroom Qualityvery spacious - however, every night the comforters were removed - we only had a sheet for cover ---- every morning, the comforters were placed back on the bed - why? who knows. Not All Its Cracked Up To Be by
Elizabeth H from Mount Jackson VA Sailing date: Mar 2009Pros: The beach blanket buffet Cons: Being mislead by the crew members about splitting bills I believe this cruise would have been better if the little details werent left out in the discription. you are not told that drinks sent to your room cost an obscen amount. you are told by one crew member that you can split a check only to find out later that you cant and then are not given any compensation for being mislead. Ship QualityThe boat and rooms were very clean Dining/Foodthe beach blanket buffet was by far the best source of food along with plutos hot dog stand Stateroom Quality
Ship Staff Qualitythe only problem was being mislead about payment and gratuities and the crew not caring about the inconvienence of it all. Entertainment & Activities

Castaway Cay (Disney Private Island)It w ould be better to have a longer time for parasailing since you are paying basicaly $80 a person to go up at the same time for less than 5 mins.
Nassau, BahamasI only did the dolphin excursion.

A Traveler from GA Sailing date: Mar 2009Pros: Our daughters enjoyed meeting the characters the best. Cons: The food We enjoyed our trip very much. The beaches were very nice. The staff was very polite and always helpful.
We had a great time. Ship QualityThe ship was very clean. Our room size was okay for 4 people in a stateroom. Dining/FoodThe food was not the greatest. Stateroom Quality

Castaway Cay (Disney Private Island)This is a very nice beach. We only stayed on the beach this time and didn't do anything else.
Nassau, BahamasWe visited the blackbeard island and swan and fed the stingray. That was a very neat adventure.
