great cruise by
Wendy M. from Boston, MA> Sailing date: Nov 2009Pros: loved everything except tiny rooms Cons: tiny rooms We just got back from a bahamas cruise on Majesty of the seas. it was our 8th one, and still loved it. The ship was beautiful and clean. Plenty to do on and off the ship. we took our whole family including our 17 month old grand daughter, who by the way, loved it also. Everyone treated her as the little princess that she is (to us anyway). The service was great, very friendly staff. Guest services were extremely helpful. One person traveling w/ us didn't get her luggage until the 2nd night , they gave her a bag of stuff to hold her over and offered her the use of a dress for formal night if her things didn't arrive. Luckily they did but royal caribbean made a bad situation as good as it could get. The only con i would point out was the small staterooms. Although we got a great price for our smaller than normal ocean view room, I would still recommend it to anyone, any age. Ship Quality
Dining/FoodGreat dining room service. Being a vegetarian was not a problem! Stateroom QualityStateroom service great ,size not so great Ship Staff Quality

Valerie L/ from NJ Sailing date: Nov 2009Pros: The price is great and the ports of call were nice Cons: I liked the food in the Windjammer better than the dining room. Great value for a family of 4 Ship QualityIt 's a nice size ship considering the length of the cruise. Dining/FoodI liked the food in the Windjammer better than the dining room. Johnny Rockets was very entertaining and the food was good too. Stateroom QualityI thought the room was going to be slightly larger since it was us and out 2 kids. Ship Staff Quality

A terrific 3 night getaway by
Chris & Barbara C. from Plantation, FL Sailing date: Oct 2009Pros: Value of a weekend cruise Cons: Casual eating stations & variety of food I thought our ship Majesty of the Seas was in terrific shape for and older ship and quite honestly I was impressed. The ship was in excellent condition, very clean and the amenities were above satisfactory. Ship Quality
Dining/FoodThe dinning staff I thought was excellent and the food was overall above
average, but skip the coffee. Stateroom QualityThe size was what I expected and very clean. Our bed was extremely comfortable and we got some good nights of sleep, Thanks... Ship Staff QualityThis was my best staff I have encountered of any of my past cruises, Especially our waiter, "Albino", who went beyond his normal duties to make our dinning experience a memorable one. Entertainment & ActivitiesWasn't very impressed with the entertainment, needs a upgrade there. 0 out of 1 people found this review helpful.

  A Fabolous Cruise by
Jacqueline Ledon from Miami, FL Sailing date: Oct 2009Pros: Ship Entertainment Cons: Waiting on line to check-in despite of completing the on-line check-in Exceeded Expectations! Ship QualityGreat ship although is starting to show the wear and tear of time built re:cosmetic Management should start dedicating some time to renovating/rep[lacing/painting in some of the areas of the ship. However, cruise exceeded our expectations Stateroom QualityExactly what you need....you don't go to a cruise to stay inside your cabin. Nonetheless, cabin was clean, spacious......just right. Ship Staff QualityCruise Director-Ricky Matthews was AWESOME. he made the cruise worth while. the variety shows, pool party, Disco night....just PERFECT. All staff were professional and courteous. Maitre'd changed our dining time without hesitation Entertainment & ActivitiesCruise Director-Ricky Matthews was AWESOME. he made the cruise worth while. GOOD, BUT ALSO BAD by
Helen P from FORT MYERS,FL Sailing date: Oct 2009This was my first cruise, so I really cannot compare it to any other cruise line. Overall when you arrive at the cruise ship everyone is very friendly and helpfull. The ship is very clean and the food overall is good and tasty, but I feel the dinner menu should at least contain a common dish, for those who do not like variety . The entertainment was okay, but the ship could use more activities, to make the trip an awesomeone. Ship Qualityexpect accessibility as to knowing where everything is, and the services and activities information should be in spanish. Met a couple that had a small child and did not participate in night activities since they were not aware of the nana services since the information was not provided in spanish.... Dining/Foodgood and tasty, but the diner menu should at least contain a common dish available... Stateroom Qualityhad a ocean room view and room size was small Ship Staff Qualitywell when you arrive everyone is nice and helpful, but on the day of your departure the are not helpful, and are treated as if you were bothering them, and they are rude , but I mean very rude... the departure was a horrible one, everyone leaving the ship was very upset and left with a bad experience with this cruise line Entertainment & Activitiescould use more activities.... 0 out of 3 people found this review helpful.

  great stuff by
Robert Fox from Florida Sailing date: Sep 2009Pros: Just about everything Cons: some of the showes This was the first time we sailed with Royal Caribbean and what a great experience. We sailed aboard the Majesty of the Seas. Some of our friends told us this was a pretty big ship, but for a short three day cruise we thought it was tremendous. Our room was splendid, we had plenty of room that made us feel like a home away from home.
There were so many restaurants we didnt have time to try them all. The ones we tried were a complete "JOY".
We also liked the layout of the Casino which was never over crowded and found to be accessible even when the theaters let out and during peak hours.
The pool deck and nightclubs made night life seem endless with 24/7 accessibility. Royal Caribbean went the extra mile to make this cruise perfect. I would also like to thank the staff and crew on a delightful cruising experience, they were always professional and made us feel like family. What else can I say thanks for a wonderful cruise. quite average by
jim from florida Sailing date: Sep 2009Pros: cocobay, their own island is pretty cool; they avoid that stupid automatic gratuity; they have onboard and exit processing nailed Cons: fitness center, locker room, sauna, food, stateroom size ship is 1992 build, but refurbished in 2007; still not state of the industry. oceanview stateroom has only 122 sq. ft. Ship Qualitywas very clean. staff appears enthused. Dining/Foodmany selections but quality disappoints. their bakers did not attend the training for desserts. Stateroom Qualityclean, updated, very small. Ship Staff Qualityroom service was always accurate and timely. staff seem to like their jobs. Entertainment & Activitiesgood singers and dancers, but production limited by size of stage. props, sound, lighting not up to industry standard. 4 out of 4 people found this review helpful.

  Overall, a great cruise by
Paty from Davie, FL Sailing date: Sep 2009Pros: The ports of call, weather and the crew were wonderful Cons: RCL has begun to charge for standard features in other lines such as caffe, cappuccino, fresh orange juice, etc. and the cabins on this ship were quite a bit smaller This ship is an older one which has been revamped and thus the smaller cabin sizes. The crew was wonderful. I was a bit disappointed that they have started to charge for incidentals that are considered on other lines such as fresh orange juice, cappuccinos, caffe, etc. Ship Quality
Dining/Food
Stateroom QualityQuite a bit smaller that other ships Ship Staff Quality
